Thankful for You--show someone you're grateful for them

What better time to let someone know how much you appreciate them than at Thanksgiving?
For these grateful gifties, you'll need:
clear treat bags, available in the party section of most stores
stuff for a trail type mix--I used a nice fall blend of mixed nuts, dried cranberries, and chocolate chips
baker's twine  I love this mix from Altered Pages, a good assortment of colors
Happy Thanksgiving collage page
tags
scissors, adhesive
optional:
ink
background stamps
rick rack (you can spell however you wish) or other embellishments
Tacky Glue for the optional embellishments
pen to write a message on the back of the tags, or computer printed messages

Cut out the images.  Background stamp and ink edges of tags, ink edges of images.

Adhere images and text to either side of tag.  Add embellishments.

Fill the bag with treats and tie with the baker's twine.  Add tag.

Because it's nice to let people know you're grateful for them.  I'm thankful for Altered Pages, Jean, and the wonderful design team here.  I've been hanging around Altered Pages a long time, and everyone I've ever "met" has never been anything but kind and encouraging.

Who are you thankful for today?

Handy Tip for Artists, Recyclers and Neat Freaks! I have a follow-up to the Citra-Sol method for creating fabulous background pages and collages.   I bought a big bag of navel oranges and realized I had the ingredients to make my own solvent!   Simply take a clean glass jar, peel the rind from the oranges and place all the rind/peels, without the pulp (tangerines, oranges, navels) into the jar.   Pour enough vinegar over the peels to cover them.    Allow the jar to sit for a week or two and VOILA!     You have made your own solvent for literally pennies.    You will notice the liquid getting a bit thicker than the plain vinegar and it does not smell bad!!! I now have a  HUGE jar on the window sill!       Be careful and only use this after testing on a safe spot.
