Making Progress with the Office cleaning & reorganizing

So far emptied 8 boxes (biggish cardboard ones) and sorted through 24 smaller boxes, consolidating and cleaning.   Lot's of duplications in the boxes, NOT now!   I love the ones that simply say "Embellishments"!

Dumped a whole box of catalogs, HEAVY

still making piles to sort through

And this is the hallway, boxes and bins and bags OH MY!  Dragged it all out of the office, so I have a real need to get it all put away!     The neighbors will reccommend me to Hoarders TV!

I do see that the future brings a much neater environment.   Until I make the next projects, fill orders or put together customer kits!    OH well, that's fun, right?

  3. Looin' good Jean! Whenever I go through my studio, I tend to take EVERYTHING that is not nailed down OUT into our famiily room & start from scratch! It's kinda scary, but does make it easier to re-org! Good luck with the rest...phone call into hoarders right now! LOL! ;)~

Handy Tip for Artists, Recyclers and Neat Freaks! I have a follow-up to the Citra-Sol method for creating fabulous background pages and collages.   I bought a big bag of navel oranges and realized I had the ingredients to make my own solvent!   Simply take a clean glass jar, peel the rind from the oranges and place all the rind/peels, without the pulp (tangerines, oranges, navels) into the jar.   Pour enough vinegar over the peels to cover them.    Allow the jar to sit for a week or two and VOILA!     You have made your own solvent for literally pennies.    You will notice the liquid getting a bit thicker than the plain vinegar and it does not smell bad!!! I now have a  HUGE jar on the window sill!       Be careful and only use this after testing on a safe spot.
