Another beauty from Debi Wind

Debi used a flowery embellishment with a gem center to accent our little angel from collage AP1138 Cherubic Children.   So Pretty and delicate.

Lovely work by Debi Wind

Never Forget by Arline "Hat Lady" Pozzo

An important anniversary is coming, not only for Americans but for all people who share a hope that peace will be attained and love will overcome all fears.    Please remember those who were lost and those who carried on.

Non - Sloppy Fabric Painting

If you like to get funky and use fabrics,  here is a fun way to do painted fabric.  Choose an acrylic paint and add approximately a tablespoon to a plastic zip bag and smoosh it around, you may add a tablespoon of water too.  Then wet a piece of fabric, 1/8 to 1/4 yard - any scrap will do. Canvas, muslin, cheesecloth, cottons all work fine. Place the wet fabric into the bag and shake it around. Remove and see if it's as you like it, if not replace and shake more. (You can also use another bag with a different color too) When you are satisfied, remove from the bag and lay flat on waxed paper to dry. Now you have a custom piece of fabric to incorporate into your projects, use as a base, cut it up or whatever! Have fun!

Hats Off To You

Hello!  Dianne here.  I love the color-themed collage sheets from Altered Pages.  For this card I used an image from #1855D - Beauty in Blue .  Don't you just love the big hat?  Along with the computer-generated sentiment "Hats Off To You My Friend", this is the perfect congratulatory card.   A bit of sewing,  paper doily and a sprinkling of glitter add interest.  I also stamped the image using a great script stamp .  This would make a quick and easy card for a deserving friend!

The BOO is upon us!
